Sumitomo (SHI) Cyclo Drive Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. is a subsidiary of Sumitomo Heavy Industries (SHI), one of the largest manufacturers of machinery in Japan, and the global leader in power transmission knowledge and innovation.
The company was first established in 22nd September 1995 as SM-Cyclo S.E.A. Pte Ltd. The company was renamed Sumitomo (SHI) Cyclo Drive Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (SCA) in Year 2000 to better reflect the wider coverage and its territorial responsibilities.
In less than a decade, the SCA group has rapidly expanded its reach to include subsidiary operations around the region. These include subsidiaries / branch offices in Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, India, Philippines Vietnam and Indonesia.
Each subsidiary operation is equipped with at least one assembly and stock center, trained technical and service engineers and a wide sales and customer support network capable of providing fast delivery and engineering / technical support.
